Just a little information about me…
I was classically trained on both Guitar and Piano and have been teaching music for over 20 years. In 2003 I became a member of the
- MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) ,
- MSMTA (Maryland State Music Teachers Association) and
- MTAGB (Music Teachers Association of Greater Baltimore).
I work with students of all ages and I would love to help you meet your musical goals. I am proud to say that my students are accepted into higher level music programs at their school and are “A” students in music. Several students have gone into music as a profession, play music in their college band and even perform with national bands.
Students learn various styles of music plus learn the songs and styles of their favorite artists. In addition to teaching proper technique, music theory and confidence to play music in a group setting, I also coordinate student concerts which sometimes include local professional musicians.
